Greg Allen grew up in rural Geauga County, one of the larger Amish communities in Ohio. His first construction job was at age 16 for an Amish contractor who knew his father and family.
Starting out as a masonry laborer was a crash course on hard physical work. That proved to be the foundation of his work ethic today and it is contagious within his company. Greg quickly moved up the ranks within his circle of craftsmen, and his hustle and commitment gained him the respect of his Amish coworkers.
After four years at Kent State University, Greg decided to pursue his passion of building and woodworking. For another year or so, he trained under a very accomplished Amish cabinet and furniture maker.
He brought his ambition, craftsmanship, and a fresh new personality to the west side of Cleveland, Ohio in 1977 and has been building and renovation many of the finer homes in the area ever since.
Greg Allen Builders is a family-operated business with a solid group of skilled craftsmen who value their role in the company. Working alongside Greg is his son Michael, who has been involved since he was 21 years old.

Dear Greg, Mike and the rest of your amazing team,
We would like to thank you so much for our amazing new kitchen! We are so pleased with everything and you all made it so easy. The workmanship, professionalism, communication, and caring of your group is stellar. Truly we were dreading the process and it went so well. Thank you for really doing an A+ job for us! We will recommend you to anyone at any time. You blew us away with all of your help with the freezing weather too. Please accept this small token of appreciation- thought you could do lunch for the guys one day-- or just go out yourselves.
Thanks again.
Sincerely,
Kristen
